It's an attribute that served the rather large LF the Loki well.
Actually I'm rather against more LFs getting a torp slot... that IMO should be reserved to HFs and be one of the reasons why people use them.
In case some LFs get them, it should not be those that can be used by half a sirius.
Just my opinion.
Oh.. and I forgot that all LFs should get a bit faster reverse IMO.

Mjolnir, you gotta understand... my thoughts on the Hyena getting a torp slot are this:
1. You can't do a thing about how big it is, we're not going to get a new model for an LF Mk II
2. There's not going to be another gun added to bring it to 4
3. The forward-firing turret might help, but a turret is nowhere near as effective as a gun
Really, even boosting the speed on that thing isn't enough, if you hit it from the side it's dead (because it doesn't have the advantage the Werewolf has of a lot of armor). Basically, the only way that I can see for this to be fixed is a torpedo slot and appropriate change in powerplant (if necessary, I don't know much about exact numbers) to support a Razor. This would make it more attractive for people to fly that should be flying it (the Rogues should not be flying Slip Streams, like I've been seeing recently), and this would give them both reason to fly it and pride in having one of the few LFs with a torp slot (I'm pretty sure the third, counting the Loki and public Nomad LF).

I think a speed upgrade would do just fine, Leave the torp slots for the HFs and VHFs. The Hyena is just inherantly flawed from the sound of it, so just dont use it? Or give it a torp slot and a couple more guns and make it a HF.

Ahh... well, now that I have that out of my system, the Phantom is horrible, I've flown one. Never flown any of the others, but the Phantom is... a VHF in LF's clothing. With crappy guns. Actually, it's a Titan in RH clothing, without all of the nice armour plating and guns. It needs a serious boost. As for the others... sounds good for the Hyena torp, we're getting a spiffy new Decurion model with upped stats, and the Griffin... needs to be fixed. Bad.

I fly 3 of the four ships listed here on a regular basis.
Decurion - Useless, I can use a Centurion HF that is more agile, has more power, faster turning, more armour, and a razor, why would anyone ever fly this ship when they could fly a Centurion for some 500k more in price.
Phantom - I actually like my Phantom, I dont think I have ever killed a player in it though. It's really, really weak, and not so fast or agile to compensate. It is so bad, the RM is talking about not letting us use them...which will make me very sad. This ship should be boasted to a point where it is a viable option, especially considering the Loki is out there, close to home.
Griffin - It's BIG, and SLOW, but I dont really mind that soooo much, it's the fact that it eats mines and inferno's and razors, and even a SN or two. I But it is usable by a very good pilot, who has really, really good vision.
