RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - SnakThree - 11-17-2013 If only commodity trader and ammor refilling would be available while transport is hanging moored to the fixture... RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - kikatsu - 11-17-2013 I am guessing it was changed to this to prevent the death on undocking that was common on some larger ships, but that is only speculation. I dunno what you're implying about the "Dying" thing (citing the ships you've used would help fix this; since I NEVER had this happen on my Lib Dready), but I -can- tell you I somewhat agree that the facing-the-planet-then-SLOWLY-turning is pretty annoying. Would be better if the ship was facing opposite the planet on the get-go. RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - tothebonezone - 11-18-2013 I've had smaller transports be caught in the middle of the atmosphere, unable to reverse in time for the game to give me control (and vulnerability) With my trains it's a 50/50 chance, but they're, at least, armored enough to survive a split second in the atmosphere. RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - Mr.Fabulous - 11-18-2013 @Saronsen Smaller transports? Interesting... On what specific mooring fixtures have your ships kerploded? From my guess, these dockdives can be caused by a few things: 1.) lag (if this is the case, it's just bad luck then) 2.) improperly distanced/placed mooring fixtures 3.) inherent size of the ship RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - Pel - 11-18-2013 Its got to be lag... and possibly F2 spamming. I run a Shetland all over Sirius and dock on all kinds of planets with no problem whatsoever. But if there is lag between when you undock and when you regain control of your ship then sure, you could drift into the atmosphere. RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - Tankman - 11-18-2013 Never had this problem happen to me before. And i am flying a Mastodon (Liberty Transport) RE: Undo mooring fixtures to previous version. - Jack_Henderson - 11-20-2013 (11-17-2013, 11:39 AM)Delithor Wrote: I don't know where you guys are at, cause, i don't experience that. I am flying a civilian train Heron. so... Same here. I am flying a large number of different ships and NEVER had that. |
