The harm can start once people start naming their characters with nationality tags and think that they can do without English.

That risk is minimized when you have Angels who speak the language to tell them that's not allowed though. Instead of insta-banning them saying, "NO ЯUS" and giving our server a bad rap, I think even giving the option of educating foreign players would be of benefit.

You know, if there's so much goodwill available, perhaps the admin staff could simply 'buy' (with in-game creds) translated versions of the rules in as many languages as possible for a multilingual sub-thread in the rules section of the forums.
In each of those could be repeated instruction to speak/RP in English.
It would help this idea along without over complicating the process or overworking the volunteer staff.

I'd also volunteer if this idea gets implemented.

As others said before, speaking in english while playing on Disco is a must.
There were some guys, who tried to use google translator while played on the server, but well...they haven't been here too long.
Sure, there are a lot of angels, admins, mods, etc. in the skype room, but the only one thing what we can do for these players, just explaining on their mother language to learn english if they would like to play here.

Just a small idea. How to attract attention of not native english player. Making char, which name would associates to it's language. My native language is russian, so...I can have char like that [Angel]Pomoshnik (helper). New player, who has native english russian, will contact me, in case he need some help. I will explain him some details and help find him his way.
So, other's can do same, if they have good with other languages.
It's just a situation, when... disco can't afford showing door to players.

damn well voted for the wrong (facepalm) but well it wouldn't be bad to have Angels which can help people in their language too, but otherwhise I'm of course for it. They should know english. Or we know what happens in game when someone tries to RP:
