Can a bounty hunter gunship be used as a pirate / terrorist vessel?... - CusoJR - 09-29-2008 you don't have to ask for cargo, but you do have to DEMAND cargo. there is a difference. One thing you can't do though is go killing for pleasure. That will get you Sanctioned... hard. Those ID's are only given out if you're part of the player faction. They are given by admin only, and I doubt you'd get one. Can a bounty hunter gunship be used as a pirate / terrorist vessel?... - Lupusy - 09-29-2008 i think the easiest thing is to get a bounty hunter gunship to play lawful and a corsair lunchbox to play unlawful but with pirate ID. ill just check the pirate id to see that it can use gunships. ' Wrote:i think generic pirate id is ok except the generic pirate id must ask for ransom first all the time. im thinking blackbeard sometimes just kills for pleasure. Listen mate. What CusoJR tried to say was: Pirate ID has to demand tax/ransom. If he gets it he can't kill the trader. Same goes for all other faction pirate ID's such as Outcast ID Corsair ID Liberty Rogue ID and so on... So no matter if you're a member of a faction of pirates you cant just kill TRADERS without making demands/taxing. another point... no matter if you choose pirate ID or faction pirate ID, you can still kill non-trader lawfuls on sight. (although its perfered to speak with them before you do it, we would all be glad if you were to set up a good example to those PvPwhores out there) such valid targets are "good guys" in fighter, gunboat, cruiser or battleship vessels. also... if you choose the normal Pirate ID you will be able to fly any unlawful ship up to gunboat size. But if you get their TAG you will also need to abide by the rules of that faction as if you were part of it. If you remove all tags you can roleplay a freelance pirate with no set origin. Just out there to raid, slaughter and ....you know.... If you choose a factioned pirate ID such as from Corsairs you will have to get both their TAG and ship. AND you will be able to fly ships up to Battleship level. Just keep in mind that Cruisers and Battleships aren't allowed to tax or attack the traders unless in self defense. But you are still allowed to fly in your ZoI (zone of influence) and waste hostile (lawful non-trader) targets. hope this clears it up:sleep: Can a bounty hunter gunship be used as a pirate / terrorist vessel?... - Robert.Fitzgerald - 09-29-2008 The Bounty Hunter Gunship should preferably be used by the Bounty Hunters Guild ONLY (yes, I'm glaring at you Mercs/Freelancers:). Pirate ID or otherwise, you'll still be hated for using the gunship. For a pirate, i would suggest either the Rogue Gunboat (looks like a pirate vessel, with a skull plate on it) or a Corsair gunboat (reminds me of a sailing ship, rusty and could suit a pirate). Just make sure you are friendly with the faction for either ship, unless you have appropriate RP to be different. Can a bounty hunter gunship be used as a pirate / terrorist vessel?... - cmfalconer - 09-29-2008 Lupusy, I've read all the other threads you've posted, asking questions about this and that...and i see a disturbing tendency. It looks to me that all you want to do is go around blowing stuff up. while i sympathize with your plight, the only people allowed to do that are Terrorists and Phantoms. These people are either granted these rights by admins because of exceptional roleplay (Terrorists) or are hand-picked by the higher-ups of the community (phantoms) to be given this VERY special privilege. You seem to want the best of everything, all geared toward PvP. I sincerely hope that I'm mistaken here, but you are insanely new, and seem to want the all there is. Stick to a bomber or something and pirate. Hell, I do it in an Armored Transport...try that for a challenge, no CD either. You don't have to have the best equipment, you just have to be able to talk. Don't be one of those "2m or di" douches, and DON'T just randomly attack people. That happened to me by two lane hackers in Colorado, no warning, just pewpew. Don't be that guy. Again, i sincerely hope your doing this for all the RIGHT reasons. I'm not even sure what ID would go. I expect a corsair ID.You already have explained it yourself. Unlawful IDs are out of question. Except the Bounty Hunters ID, the remaining ones need a good explanation to have their hands on Bounty Hunter ships.
