Can you penetrate Battleship armor or Tank armor with Handgun? I don't meant kevlar armor. Fighters can go inside the planet sized station and then they can destroy the core.

Pretty much what Laura said. Make BS guns really slow so there is little to no chance for them to hit a fighter, then we can talk about BS shields getting buffed. It would also promote teamplay as a lone battleship would be an easy target for a few bombers considering it can't hit them, so a BS would need escorts if it wants to survive. Not to mention how ridiculously easy is for caps to shoot down snubs considering the auto-aim that was implemented.

so 500 000 000 divided by 50 000 000 = 10
we need 10 bombers to take on caps right?
