It's funny. When the server is up, there are always doomsayers complaining about EVERYTHING. Nothing's ever good about the fact there's enough of a miracle that a nearly thirteen year old game has an active community of players which care about it enough that they produced a gigantic, complicated mod for it. Not enough? Okay, how about the fact the whole dev team is currently bleeding out their eyes to get the server back up online for a bunch of people who are very thankful for it- And of course, a small number of ingrates. Everything is going to die one day. Including you, so how about instead of complaining about the fact the game YOU PLAY AND SPEND TIME ON is going to vanish one day, you shut up, thank the staff and Spazzy for caring enough and try to keep the server alive instead of slinging mud over it and claiming it'll fail?

looking back i dont think there was an issue of people leaving all that much.
the rumors of people going to leave becasue of this made more damage actually.

I know this ain't the welcome thread, but yeah, think it will help. I'm a new member and only now discovering Discovery. This community shouldn't worry just yet. Bringing the nostalgia back. Thats what everyone needs right now.
