Ill have to try it! as a OSC only player i really only use liners like the Enterprise and tbh find it pretty easy to line up with the trade lanes in the usual "3rd person" view, but anything to make it easier!

Saying that however I would use cockpit view more if instead of being mismatched with the vessel it actually made sense. ATM when you switch to it it feels like the captain of this large liner is siting in a little pod sticking out of the very front of the ship, not very realistic considering the placement and size of bridges on real cruise liners.

In third person view camera is swinging as you are strafing and you cant really tell when you have lined up with next trade line , unless you wait couple of seconds for camera to go back to neutral position , and if you are not lined up you have to strafe again and wait for camera to holds still again etc . In first person view camera in still and you can line up much faster .
