@Anomander I've done a lot of administrator and moderator stuff in the past, i've found that whether people curse or thank you depends on whether you just make it another job or do it for the people.

Well, but I bet that You do not had to deal with eg. child-pornography reports,
not far than 2 weeks from now, I had to block entire site due such abuse.
And 'dear' user instead any apology or regret just make a giant buthurt
how he lost 'dozens-of-milions' since his site was unavailable.
The same story goes with phishing, malware sites ect.

@Anomander Okay, so you deal with actual law breakers, not just monitoring a bunch of gamers, there are huge differences between what you do and what the staff of disco do, you follow rules set by people you've never met with motives you'll never know while discomins are the law makers and the law enforcers. *shrugs*
