These fields were just fine for massive OC and Sair and BHG and Zoner and Order and whatever fleets for years to brawl through. You're lazy.

So you call getting stuck on tiny asteroids lazy. They had to deal with that because back then the systems didn't get those passages. The new systems have.

For the record, I played a Legate in Single Player, where you're not with the convenience of /stuck.

It's hard, but it's doable. In my trek from one end of Malvada Cloud to the other, I've only gotten really stuck only thrice, and the maximum time I've ever gotten stuck was less than 2 minutes.

Tips that'll make your ride more bearable:
> Fly smart, don't F2 nor go in a straight line. There are psuedo-passages in these clouds, areas where the surroundings are much less dense than others. Take advantage of cockpit view and mouse flight.
> Don't expect to progress more than half cruise speed. Sure, during those psuedo-passages you'll be flying fast, but your overall velocity will be realistically lower. Hell, even take the time to go out of cruise to fly at impulse speed if these psuedo-passages are becoming less frequent.
> If you do get stuck, don't panic/rage. Go to turret view, find the source(s) of the stuckage, then puzzle your way backwards out of the mess. Then learn to watch out for such choke points so that you don't be an idiot and fly through such again.

It's a disclaimer with EVERY capital pilot that you HAVE to be patient, wherever you go. You're not flying Arrows that go 400m/s cruise with turn radii that make your ears bleed. You're flying a goddamn war machine that needs a lot of care and hand-holding.

As for these new systems that have these passages... Places like Malvada Cloud iRP wouldn't make logical sense to create passages. The life of a Corsair is constant struggle, from the moment they're born on Crete they've had to fight for survival.

Malvada Cloud has, and always will be, a Corsair pilot's first test of skill, from when they first prove themselves by harvesting an artifact in unshielded fighters, to the capital pilot's proving of patience and agility through the thickest of problems.

What you call an inconvience... I see as an ingenious symbolism of what it means to be a Corsair.

1. I'm not a new player to Discovery.
2. Why are you so adamant about not giving Malvada that passage? What's making people that desperate about it? Some people don't want to bump every two seconds or get stuck because of those small rocks. Not all ship types are as flat as the Legate.

If those passages were not neccessary, then the other systems wouldn't have gotten those. Omicron Gamma was just forgotten about, and the Malvada cloud is relatively dense, especially for being a system that is just one jump away from the shipyard that offers the biggest ships in the mod. It's as easy as that.

stop using inrp reasons to interfere with gameplay, it's stupid, annoying and not needed at all.

Something like this will suffice.

RE: Omicron Gamma Passage - Wesker - 09-07-2016

you know what needs to happen to gamma

RE: Omicron Gamma Passage - Kauket - 09-07-2016

It's in G4, lol

RE: Omicron Gamma Passage - Wesker - 09-07-2016

Ah, yes... the great debate between gameplay and story segregation...
Yes, it's annoying.
No, it's not stupid.
No, it is needed to a degree. It's finding the right balance that's the key.

I'll give this the benefit of a chance, since I guess it would make logistical sense to have some clearance for capship movement, but with some pointers:

> Omicron Theta JH doesn't really need a passage. It's right at the edge of the cloud. But if you really want a passage, lead it only to Omicron Xi.
> The passage to Omega 55 and Omicron Kappa is unnecessary. Taking it out also allows Omicron Xi to be the chokepoint, and chokepoints = great, for defense and simplicity.
> Why does Tripoli scrapfield need a passage? It's not even that thick.
> Personally, Omega-41 doesn't need a passage. Its roids are at the right density balance to be annoying, yet still manageable. But if you really need the passage, lead it to beside Cella Dor.

RE: Omicron Gamma Passage - Kalhmera - 09-07-2016

To be honest, Nyx's map is pretty neat. least she worked on it. I think that would work. similar actions should be done in areas where Large Battleships have issues passing through.
