I would not have anything against an increase to 2,5... or... 3,0... I can't decide. Only specialised lore-wise unlawful miners however should have that. The last round, in which suddenly pretty much every faction can mine is a little weird. So... yes... I have made up my mind: "traditional" unlawful miners with just 1 ore that they are specialised in via lore (like Molly, Hessians) => up to x3 bonus RE: Increasing Unlawful mining bonus - Wesker - 12-06-2016 I'd personally like to see the blood diamond commodity buffed at all sell points for the Hessians. However it never did make sense to me why the Hessians have less of a bonus in comparison to Daumann or Kruger. A good portion of the Hessians are miners. We have our own made mining tech that runs parallel to that of daumann's level. Yet we still have a 2.0 bonus. Also the sellpoint prices as pointed out by the person making the op, are far less than that of the lawfuls. In short this makes 0 sense. The argument of PoBs is completely invalid for the Hessians, as we don't have any PoBs nor have I ever supported the making of one. Even if we had a Pob, the sellprice would probably be less than 3k. Well, it's not the first time the suject came around : link In fact, i even remember underlining it everytime in the monthly faction lead report. So, for thoses who don't know what the sudbect, Mollys and Hessians used to have a x2.5 on a single mining comodity ( gold ore, and uncut diamonds ). And it was nerfed to x2.0 some time ago ( maybe in 4.86, i can't say ), without any explanation beside : they're unlawfull, they'll get a bad mining bonus, setting aside any lore justification. Like, belonging to that artificial classification was a reason per see, for such a mining bonus. Very well. Note that i do not contest that, on the contrary, it's logical. It's the contrary which isn't. TheHessians and mollys , both originate from revolting miners. When it comes to fly cruisers, or battleships i think IMG, has the ability to fly a battle cruiser. And a number of thoses mining faction are able to actively hunt their enemies, and so on... So, unlawfull with a mining bonus superior to x3.0 would be a big no-no ! While I wouldn't approve of a full 4x buff (as that would render ID's such as BMM's rather pointless) a x3 buff wouldn't be too bad. As for mining miners, kinda hard to do so when they got lawfuls on speed-dial and they come with cruisers, battleships and snubs to kill your single poor Pirate. There used to be a place where Mollys/Hessians could dump ore in 52, but the Ore-Points were removed as economy updates went through so now they are pretty much forced to either deal with the Junkers who may or may not sell them out in exchange for concessions for their bases/wipe out past crimes or transfer the ore to their 'lawful' traders which renders it all pointless from an RP point of view.
