However, this is letting the leader of a faction dictate to indies.
If Indies are ooRP, it's up to admins to sanction them, not up to Bs| to slam them down.
Other factions have got in trouble for this, I don't see why it should be allowed for Bs|.
And yes, for the record, I'm defending indies. Get n00bl3t in here to note that.

Many, many people RP quite well without ever writing anything on the forums which only a handful of people would ever read anyway, and likely come away with information that they wouldn't actually know about in-RP.

There was an extremely good reason for them to be there.
They were saving what was left of the free galaxy from enslavement by a menace few knew existed, and those that did were a part of it.
I'd say that warrants a certain exemption from the black-and-white lines we should follow today.
Besides the fact that Discovery is currently 16 years from the events of SP. The Order has evolved slightly, away from the silent protection of public figures, and into a more proactive Nomad-hunting cabal.

Sorry, but I feel that people should find out about other characters through RP. If someone ever tells me to just go read a forum story if I ask them about things ICly, I'll just ignore them and avoid RPing with them.
But we're going off topic.
