why are you worried about that? As a developer you would want to make the ships you incorporate attractive, no?
For now if you could please fix/buff it... That would be really nice until a new model eventually comes out. Im interested in flying it but if it is so bad right now then I'd just be crazy to pit myself at a disadvantage .
You postponed updating it because it is a "poor model"... Whatever that means.. That's the same as not adjusting it because you dont consider it good enough.
I just dont understand why you do this...

So, what I understand Haste to be saying is "I don't like the model, it doesnt fit with the ship line its from, and its pretty poor in dog fights due to massive sides. I want to buff/rebalance it, but I would like to do it to a new model, and not to this one in the event people start using it because of stats and nothing else." Which to be fair, is an entirely valid opinion. I flew the Sutinga a few times and its just lack luster.

Personally I like the look, but I know a lot of people fly ships purely for stats already.

The problem is it's a little sluggish in the maneuvering department and lacks the armor to balance the turning rate, either give it the health to duke it out with the heaver VHF's or boost it's turning rate so it handles like the lighter VHF's.
I agree that it doesn't really fit the Renzu line, but I don't want to see those Macross looking things go.

i fly a sutinga and i find its an alright ship?
the look is rather nice in a way,
when i die with it, its usually just because im a lesser skilled snub pilot

If and when new model arrive in spring of 2023 it can be replaced , but for now why not give it some love/buff and make if flyable ?
I personally like look of surinder , and i LOVE look of sutinga !
