RE: POB Replacement Concept - Kaze - 09-16-2018 As I said during the first models you posted in the chat, it's FL as the original stuff so yes.
<3 RE: POB Replacement Concept - Wilfred - 09-17-2018 I really, really like this design. Although, I gotta say, this possibly looks more like a Core 2. Maybe a Core 1 shouldn't have the disc on top, only the central tower? And possibly not even the storage module (or whatever it is) at the bottom? But proper docking bays, and proper mooring points? YAS!! RE: POB Replacement Concept - Capt. Henry Morgan - 09-17-2018 (09-17-2018, 12:13 AM)Wilfred Wrote: I really, really like this design. The reason I put that all in there for core 1 is because I wanted something that, from the beginning, looks like a functional space station capable of plausibly holding 200 crew with room for cargo. Core 2 is going to have an industrial module of some sort on the bottom hardpoint along with additional storage tanks. Core 3 and up are going to expand off of the side hardpoints. Fair point, can't argue with that. ![]() (09-17-2018, 12:39 AM)Capt. RE: POB Replacement Concept - MotokoSusu - 09-17-2018 i like it. it looks way more functional as a base. at the start seeing you have 200 crew and scientist if you add certain modules also let us not forget the base core one has storage of 30k. the current PoB core one looks like a storage rental unit. i would really be interested to see the other cores look like. but going any higher than 5 would be a waste seeing 5 is as high as they go in the current disco state RE: POB Replacement Concept - Capt. Henry Morgan - 09-18-2018 Even though we're only using 5 right now, I intend to make all 10 levels so they're available if needed. RE: POB Replacement Concept - Capt. Henry Morgan - 09-18-2018 Core 2 is now finished and added to the first post. Enjoy! RE: POB Replacement Concept - Sciamach - 09-18-2018 Bruh. RE: POB Replacement Concept - Sand-Viper - 09-18-2018 Boy, if that don't look purty! They're coming along nicely! I'd advocate for these new models, definitely. Perhaps though, once the replacements are put in, anyone who wants to retain their POB v1.0 models can request them back? Something to help folks who have had their bases up for a while show off that fact, if they choose to do so. RE: POB Replacement Concept - Goddess Astra - 09-24-2018 Oh my goodness. These are incredible. Please keep working on them, they look so much better than what we have now. |
