RE: Discovery goes Stellaris - TheShooter36 - 07-06-2020 An update from my side: Until GalaxyGen tools become sufficient enough for my requirements, we have decided to go with "starter systems+neighbors" route, instead of a full-fledged static galaxy. And I am more than halfway through to complete each faction's systems. In some cases like Xenos, Bundschuh or GC, we are going an "alternate history" route due to how stellaris mechanics works. To be honest, I feel like that's basically necessary for Stellaris's scale anyway. Maybe a few more preset systems that spawn in random places, possibly as clusters if you can do that (to keep Tau, Sigma, Omega, and Omicron clusters together properly), but Disco's map alone is way too small for Stellaris even if the cut systems were brought back. Incidentally, I haven't seen the perk/civics mods you use, but when I play Natio Octavarium in Stellaris we're usually some mix of Egalitarian and Materialist, living on a habitat (or an Atoll World in the Kansas days), with Democratic government and usually a focus on engineering and trade-related traits. RE: Discovery goes Stellaris - Its Raisu - 07-10-2020 Liberty? Xenophile? So this is pre-nomad war then? Jokes aside, Auxesia is there but not Hellfire Legion Liberty Insurgency? RE: Discovery goes Stellaris - TheShooter36 - 07-10-2020 Factions were mostly Shelco's choices as he is doing them, so bring your complaints to him. |
