Money is split because two people can burn a mission off in like what, 30 seconds?
Outcast Dreadnought is the hugenot which is 50 million ISK? If you want to go most expensive bigger then life ship, get a Battlestar... I think it's like 1 billion ISK, but I am not sure. As for getting the can ship. 40 million is pretty damned easy. Then again I make that much an hour... My suggestion would be that BOTH of you get a train of somesort and find some trade ruote.Stick with that for a while one of you gets the can ship then the other can pay back (Combine your ISKs). But that's just me...*

Vic... First. ISK is EVE money.. FL money is Credits.. Also huggy is the DESTROYER. The dreadnought is simply that.. The Outcast Dreadnought.
Battlestar is actually one of the cheapest capships right now.. NO SHIP COSTS A BILLION.. Where the heck did you get that idea? I think your mixing FL and EVE you addict. :P
And the higher rank missions take a few minutes to do Vic. Its the level 30- that take about 30 seconds, but thats even after the fighting starts. Another minute or to to fly to it and back.
But Vic is right, if you want to make some real cash, do trading. Though I think group fighting is a more fun way of doing it. But eventually it could get boring.. Just remember. Have fun, getting tons of money really isn't all there is to Freelancer.

What angers me is that when im in a group, as AW and HF and other allies often are, I'm trying to improve my rep with the lane hackers, and they get part of my money. Most of the time i just laugh about it, but lately ive found that there are some higher mission prices on lane hacker bases. Since the new mod i think we've had higher lvl missions. I have enough money from my trader, but still, i dont want to have to make a trans every time i run out of money. Know what i mean?

Change name of game from Freelancer to Freelancers. Maybe that would say something in to the sort of gameplay that might be expected.
BTW, you encounter teamplay when you have group vs. group battles and not so much on PVE experiences.
