To adress the thing that seems to trouble you the most: The deleted post.
Our friendly mod, @TheDoctorXI apparently mistook this for a thread in the staff subforum and casted a vote. Evidently, it was not, so he promptly deleted his post.
Now, let us speak about the thing that really piqued my interest - connecting dots and pawns and etc.
If you have something to say it, by all means, say it. But please, do so in an understandable manner. Not all of us are able to guess what's on your mind. This is a feedback thread and as such, all feedback is more than welcome. If you wish to accuse The Core (and by extent me, as I am the leader currently) of something, do not beat around the bush.
Also, do keep in mind, this is still WiP. Many changes have been made and many more will be made in the future.
And last but not least, your feedback is appreciated.

I would say it is indeed a "pawn faction "and has a massive no from me. But who am I to say except a simple, humble player, who just happened to be at the wrong place at the right time?
The presence ingame, the presence in the forums, and elsewhere is too minuscule that it isn't shouldn't even be conceivable to bring back Core|, into an OF. This is my final stance on this matter.

Pre-emptive indeed, @TheDoctorXI. That is my final opinion on this faction. Pre-emptive. I would advise against, and let the Edgeworld pick up themselves, instead of having players from another playerbase pick it up themselves as they saw an opportunity, a breach, to engulf themselves in.

You are entitled to your own opinion, as much as everyone else is entitled to just pick up a faction, wherever it may reside, and play it.
Furthermore, I was part of Core playerbase years before I joined the playerbase you are reffering to. So your arguement is pretty much, if I dare say so, invalid.

And so was I, by technicality, I think you know more than anyone about that. You can ask Lemon since you are in VC.
Invalid? Did I mention the Core players? I merely mentioned how this is indeed an opportunity. An opportunity it remains because if I were as picky, I would simply refer to the last rollcall this faction account has done, and you will see not many current members. And you didn't even try to deny the nature of my partially re-posted reply. I believe it is enough to valid this argument, yet you stay on what you gained.
So yes, valid.

Can you just move away, please? We appreciate feedback but what you're doing is just throwing random accusations left and right and that's not leading anywhere.
We'll play the game the way we have fun doing. Just because players overlap in terms of faction membership doesn't mean we will just 1:1 copy roleplay from the other groups we're in. As for the whole "is it worth trying to be OF?" thing, I ask that you let that for the staff to decide. We're trying to get there, and if we do, that's epic. If we don't, that's also epic. We'll continue playing all the same.

I do not know why that last roll call from almost three years ago is relevant to this situation. Some of those people don't even play this game anymore, things change over time, playerbase changes also. if I could rope all the people from the old core back into this mod, and by extent, in the Core, I would. But alas, I cannot.
Furthermore, why do I have to deny who The Core's current playerbase is? Every single current member has in one way or another applied and earned his place in the faction. People have the right to play whatever they heart desires. The fact that you downright dislike a certain alotment of members is not a valid reason for me not to try and revive the Core. it's as simple as that, unfortunately.
PS: For the record, I consider it pretty low to keep bringing up a minor mistake made be a mod. Yes, we're in the same discord, yes the bot quotes the replies. We get it, you've read it. So have I and also literally everyone else in that discord.

When it comes to Core, there are no other guys I'd believe in more alongside Lyth other than @Implosion and @Domino.Harvy. They are the OG Core guys who always cared about Core first and foremost and understand it's philosophy - as long as they are in charge the faction will be it's own thing no matter who else is in it.
OF is not needed for them, it won't do much, but it will help us indies as they will regain the capability to keep the core laws that are now neutered updated. I mean fuck me - the 1.2 "Illegal Factions" fine was removed because nobody had control over listed hostile factions - and those were all my presets! Now I can't even fine nomads for being nomads, I have to fine them for nomad equipment - uncool!
