Rule Wrote:3.3 - All piracy demands to characters or Player Owned Bases must be cumulatively reasonable. Orders to halt/stop are not a demand; if the target chooses to ignore the order, it can be engaged without further demands. If the target complies with the demand(s), the demanding party must not interfere with the target any further during the same interaction unless provoked. The reasonable demand requirement applies to the server and roleplay areas of the forum.

"Unwritten rule", of course. Demanding the size of your cargo hold well fits into the definition of reasonable demands, and was clarified by the staff. Odd that some remain oblivious of it.

im pretty sure i made skorak quit for putting that unwritten rule into writing for an event involving moving terrorist sympathizers around

Apparently, Skorak quit because of IRL.

And Skorak was trying to make an event revolving around cargo interception and delivery - he was trying to test making people actually fly transports vs transports. You people just don't appreciate the amounts of effort admins have to go through to make events, he wanted to try a new concept for that event specifically and you acted like a selfish brat - this is why we can't have nice things plugin events...

threatening me with sanctions and wanting to ban my faction from participating in an event for actions within the (awful) rules of the event and the server and then doing a 180 and playing the victim and being all sad Sad when i post it publicly to be berated is not being selfish, its moderating the staff for them since they refuse to moderate themselves. consider it journalism. just like journalists jump on politicians saying stupid things, i jump on staff saying stupid things

brown nose more, please

threatening me with sanctions and wanting to ban my faction from participating in an event for actions within rules of both the event and the server and then doing a 180 and playing the victim when i post it publicly is not me being selfish

Yes, that was not handled well obviously - but I mean for you and future people, come the fuck on. If there ever will be admins actually crazy enough to do big regular plugin events, just let them do their good damn thing. It's like the teacher of the dark arts at Hogwards - every single one who started making regular events quit the staff and game soon after.

They get very little out of it, for loads of stressful effort with plugins, writeup, people constantly whining etc. They get no chance at making their cool biased pixels like story and systems. So what you'd have to log transports and demand what they can hold - it's just one event - he acted unprofessionally but you didn't have to try to trigger him so hard. Now we have no events besides AWES small-scale shenanigans.

if you need it spelled out for you: volunteering for a community, even with a sought-after skill, does not suddenly bestow upon you the right to act like an asshat and clown and be free of any and all criticism

this place really is a monument to man's hubris

id be crazy enough but the staff would never trust me with the keys to the kingdom
and thats after giving people like sindroms access (love spazzy)

(02-22-2023, 07:44 PM)Darius Wrote: Oh please, rules are almost always enforced in such a way that the offender feels spit in the face by the administration and moderator teams alike. There's little actual regard for rules, and they're most of the time enforced without any looks thrown at available roleplay. There's still plenty of people around who bend the rules around to their liking and never ever get punished for it, so the argument that "fair play" is somehow even remotely considered is just a statement thrown around without a basis. There's also plenty of people willing to continuously seek loopholes just to exist in the game to grief others. Get out with the "for fun" and "sportsmanship" arguments.

Also, you all of people, Racerdude, shouldn't be even talking about rules. Your charade around Sigmas with PoBs just proves that we still have a staff team incapable of addressing individuals that do things only to piss off others. But of course, if you mention this out openly, the posts get censored awfully quick. It's a wonderful time to be alive.

Thanks Darius thought i was the only seeing this then be told im mental because i loose the plot when friends get chased off the server new friends that was made while helping new people make a beginning just to be run off the server because they befriended you and some random troll have a problem with you having friends. People you try to help in game and help them grow bigger hoping they might stay and help grow the server numbers but as to date they get run off faster as then i can convince them to stay.

Maybe just let it all go to waste so the trolls can jack each other off.

Stay banned, you aren't much better. God have mercy on this community so we move on one day from having every terrible person act as if they're a saint.

Reading this thread makes me want to pull the plug but then again I am not sure if unleashing you all back on society is a good idea.

Can you take sarcasm? I wonder. But seriously, what is this here?
