So not engaging is quite oorp, id expect the BH to engage, but not with just "engaging." Ive had this happen to me many times like this one time I was in alpha with my corsair, I strarted RPing with a couple of OCs and without a word they just came and attacked me full on with supernovas while I was not even moving (dishonorable) and owned me :(. This is sever full of people, and you can not play alone, there is always risk to meet someone who want pvp only. This is part of this game.

As a corsair you will experience more hostility from players than in most other Factions.
This also attracts players who simply want to destroy you.
The best way to solve your problem is following tyro's advice or to report very rude players with a screenshot.
If you want to do your missions in peace without interferences you better not stay for long in battlefield systems like Omicron Delta with a BH and a Corsair base in it.

OORP and bad quality RP engagements happen all the time. Even though players with a sense try to prevent it, warn others and sometimes, just for the sake of correcting the on going dialogue, start a new RP in system comm, it happens.

Even though, it doesn't happen much to us Order| since we operate close to our home systems and usually we can call in for backup if someone really wants to mess around, we keep ourselves safe. Of course sometimes major battles happen, RP or just for PvP but they are of less frequency then Corsairs.

Even when we operate within the house spaces, places that we are not wanted due to diplomatic reasons, we get a RP first from others. Perhaps its because of the faction fame.

Corsairs are, on the otherhand, known to go for a battle before RP in general, from what I can judge over community dialogues. Some of them rock with RP but most of the good RP'ers I saw around were from other factions, including BHG.

On the other hand, it is strange to see a Core player to do that cause, even though sometimes the quality drops on both sides, we have a rather good rp dialogue with them and bloody battles in the end hehe.
As Tazuras suggested, I strongly agree on using the print screen a lot, even if you don't use the recorded footage. Better be safe than sorry.
