RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - Laz - 07-14-2025 After much work and some collaboration with @Aingar, the menus have received a nice visual upgrade; looking a lot more like the kind you'd find in the base game
RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - Nodoka Hanamura - 07-14-2025 Please dear god tell me this shit is going to be in the next update. I will quite literally drop everything and invest my life in Disco if it is. RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - Sally - 07-14-2025 Will this fancier GUI add further dependencies into FLUF/Disco or will everything remain as it is right now? RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - Laz - 07-14-2025 They would not change. This is all built using the same toolkit. Keep up the good work you might even want to add a donation link somewhere in your repo or your account, this free tip also applies for Aingar who did a lot of heavy lifting over the last years. I've also noticed the AGPL, 10/10, based and freedom-pilled. RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - Laz - 07-15-2025 The player status menu is probably only menu from vanilla that we'll be replacing with FLUF (simply because we need somewhere to put buttons to access the new menus). So far this is currently what we are working with, but I think it's looking quite good so far ans sufficiently reminiscent of the original with some upgrades (like filters). I am always open to feedback with the things I create. ![]() ![]() (07-14-2025, 04:16 PM)Sally Wrote: Keep up the good work you might even want to add a donation link somewhereI've setup a ko-fi if anyone is interested, but it's not a thing I would have really thought to do. RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - Nodoka Hanamura - 07-15-2025 Had I the money I'd toss 80 bucks at you to make setinfo a less torturous experience. Keep up the good work. RE: Laz's Coding Shenanigans - TheKusari - 07-15-2025 I like a clean GUI. This is that. Nice work, and I'm with @Sally on the whole donations thing. Not just clean, it's drop dead sexy. Simple, sleek, modern yet blends well with the old UI aesthetic. Imagine how the rest of FL/Disco could be with this kind of touching up.
