Greetings, Colonel Larson good to see you again, Sir Konstantinou, a pleasure to meet you, i'm General Alwine newly appointed leader of the Eclipse Vanguard succeeding of Admiral Naxxramas.

I'll be blunt, i saw the recent messages until the 10/04/836, and was waiting how the situation would evolve, but ! the reason i contact you especialy today, sir Konstantinou is, i just had a report from one of my transport saying they got "taxed" by one of your clan vessel.

What's the meaning of this ? taxing Order transports ? and claiming WE stealing YOUR artifacts? which by the way we trying to keep those nomad stuff in their respective place to not attract more Nomads that it is as we speak.

If you want to keep having Peaceful relationships with the Order, you should at start, instructing your members, to never tax our transports during a negociation, i'm awaiting a sum of 300.000 credits as for reparation for the commotion caused at our bank account named "E\V/-Bank", if nothing received, consider the renewal of the alliance as void, and if i see just one of your ships transporting "artifacts". it's gonna be fireworks, you have been warned.

Of course i'll send you the blackbox to prove that.

I have received your messages and I will respond to them individually:


Colonel Narson, a decision has been made within the Conclave that can align with the Elders vision.

Any Zoner, excluding Phoenix, with proper identification shall be granted passage through our space to reach the deeper Omicrons. Freelancer will require to be identified just the same. The method of identification needs to be established and agreed upon before this operation begins. If they can't be verified, they cannot be protected.

ALG will be taxed for the passage when stopped by our vessels. GMG and other hostile factions to Crete are excluded entirely. If their ships enter Corsair space during this operation that's a choice they made with full awareness of the consequences. Deterrence will not be hunting them specifically, but they will have no protection.

I want to point to something Colonel Narson - this arrangement covers the Deterrence. It does not cover other corsair clans and they cannot be bound by it. We will inform them of this but it is their decision on what they do with it, we cannot be responsible for something done outside our authority.

As for what you offer, the relaxed stance on Azurite can be accepted for a long term project. Delta stands between us and that resource for now but the agreement has value when that changes and we will hold you to it when the time comes.

The jump drive countermeasure is a far more promising offer, but a technology that is still being developed needs to be proven, lest it becomes an unfulfilled promise. So to agree on this deal with this, we would need something concrete, a proof that this technology can and will become viable. The Deterrence is not dismissing the offer, we are asking to give us something to hold onto besides the promise of this newfound technology.

The transmission will remain open if we need to discuss this more.


General Alwine,

I congratulate you on your new appointment.

The incident is acknowledged. The patrol in question acted without knowledge of ongoing negotiations between our factions - a failure of internal communication on our part rather than a violation. It will not happen again. The 100,000 credits that was taken will be returned.

What I will not do is meet the demand for 300,000 credits issued under threat. The grievance is legitimate, but the figure you are demanding is not reparation. I think you already know that. At this level of conversation that sum is not what either of us should be focused on and we both know that too. I will note that the history between our factions regarding artifact operations is not one sided. I trust you are as aware of that history as I am.

The threat to engage Deterrence artifact transports is a separate matter entirely. You introduced it as leverage in a reparation dispute over a sum that shouldn't even be considered. Think carefully what that escalation would mean before committing to it. Colonel Narson and I have been building something that can serve both our factions and addresses a threat that we can't afford to ignore. That work was proceeding without incident before today. How you choose to engage with this conversation going forward is your decision.
