well the best way is to do all by yourself. I like to help newbies too, (nothing easy to give someone 2 mil and show him a good trade route) but you will miss one good part of the game, when you fly your rhino and when you are scared of the hostile npcs because they would tear you up. My advice to you is to do all by yourself, i can pm you some good trade routes for beginning. Also i can tell you what ships and when you should buy... pm me if you are interested.
