This idea with the wings is really good !! I would love to fly a rheinland valkyrie like the ones below in the picture.

This shape change thing could be used for some kind of battle mode for some ships, when activates the arcs of the guns change for forward firing (includes turrets), but cruise mode cannot be engaged, it would be god for transports and GB, or making torpedo bays on bombers point down, and drop torps over a capship.

I say we use them for there original purpose: docking.
The basic idea was that they'd fold in there wings to take up less space in the ship bays. So if we could connect folding the wings to the docking lights that would be ideal. (With the exception of the Valkyrie, that would work backwards since it's wings are in the folded position ingame right now)

I thought there was a thread by disco developers about testing this recently? I'll try and find it, basically, I remember them saying they were trying various things like this out.
