ECM Systems - ACER_SPACER - 08-14-2009 This would make the secret operative ID's more useful. Also look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGVs68MJ3TE...feature=channel ECM Systems - Exsiled_one - 08-17-2009 do you know you're my hero... if mods can actually make this, but make the ship targetable and hittable you would have an awesome thing. its a way for a ship to dissapear from the damn radar, but be there, and be targetable if you see it. what a win for freighter smugglers. ECM Systems - 11of10 - 08-17-2009 My god, it's doable! I have managed to miss on the ACER SPACER's post. Thank you for showing us that video, I'm so happy now. However, after looking at that video, I think that that shown on it would be a bit of an overkill. Being unable to completely target the ship in a dog fight would be nasty. If it is not implementable to make it like a flying nebula, that is, to reduce scanner range, then it should be made so it can only be mounted on ships larger than fighters/bombers, for instance, by taking up ~200 cargo space. That way, the smuggling freighters that Ivan is running for would work, and fighter/bomber dog fights wouldn't drive pilots crazy. Also, anybody have idea how to prevent huge transports from mounting it? Dedicated slot maybe? Now, if we could only hear from some people "upstaris". The fact that disturbs me is that Igiss is against cloaking devices. I wonder if this is too close to it to be implemented. |
