so far, i received nighthawks cutlass model ( good quality - i just adjusted a few little things )

in general - everything that is model related can be send. - but also like i wrote... - this is to relieve igiss from receiving all the stuff in his mailbox. - if / how stuff is included depends on the dev teams consensus. ( but good ideas that are beneficial for everyones gameplay usually got no problem with that )

Can I ask what you adjusted? If I know what I did wrong I can improve on it next time.

hm - i thought i had written it in the reply mail - don t really know exactly what it was ...

- one was the shield. its a fighter.. so i moved the shield hardpoint from inside to an outside location
- rear turrets had a 90 degrees arc to both directions - i reduced it to 45 degrees, cause guns get another 20 or so degrees with the autoaim - so they would have been able to fire when turning
- i spun some hardpoint facings around, cause they were "mirrored" - meaning the base outside, the turret / equipment inside the model ( that doesn t need to be your fault, HardCMP sometimes turns them around for no reason even if you had them correctly assigned )

You probably did, but I'm notoriously bad at checking my emails x3

As for the hardpoints, I matched the locations of the ones on the current Falcata. The Shield hardpoint on it is internal and the turret hardpoints have a turning of 90 degrees. I didn't realise it was a problem, but just so you know, that's how it is on the Falcata at the moment.

oh - no mistake of you. - but when we have the chance to check models - we can just make it so that its like its intended to be. - so if the current falcata has its shield inside - i d blame legenation:laugh:- its not supposed to be inside.

when the turrets have such a generous arc - its not really supposed to be like that. - so the falcata is like its not supposed to be, the cutlass is what its supposed to be.

but i also wrote that the cutlass is too similar to the falcata. - chances are that it rather replaces the falcata than creating a fully new ship. - the falcata could become a real BW ship - if eppy had finished his outcast bomber - but since we received no submission of that - ... this is no real option.

Last I heard Eppy gave his bomber to Frozen. Might want to give him a bump about it, I hope it gets submitted in time for 4.86.

Sending you an updated version of the Greyhound. Still the same model, with a few improvements.

*bump*

bumping this cause we have rather countless presentations - but only very few actual submissions. - so, if you feel that your models are ready to be submitted, never hesitate to submit them.

we will discuss every model that is submitted. - but cannot ensure that it gets included of course. - but the point is - if its not submitted it has no chance at all.

also submit hitboxes, weapon/turret models, projectile modifications, stations - etc. ( no systems - thats better discussed directly with the people concerned with that )

on a sidenote:

- NEW ships ( that is totally new additions ) are harder to be included than REPLACEMENTS.
- if you replace a model of a modeller that is still active, be kind enough to discuss it with the modeller of the previous model.
- in most cases - quality is the winner. - an old ship with a good balancing and a perfect hitbox is not easily replaced by a submission without all the necessary things ( good hitbox, balancing etc. ) keep in mind that the model ( the visual part ) is really only a "part" of a whole - don t force a replacement for something that isn t broken - unless your replacement is certainly superior.

but even so - submitting something won t hurt. - so even if you have for example ... a "xeno ultra mega super dreadnought with 32 turrets and 90.000.000 powercore" - simply submit it. - the worst thing that happens is that its not included. - the second worst thing is - that its submitted for another purpose ( always discussed with the modeller though )

another *bump* and information...

i have received two mails which contain attachments - but i will not download those. - i do not know if those mails are submissions and what those downloads are, cause the mail is written in some asian language that i cannot read!

when you submit something - please submit in english - and with western letters.

mails that contain unreadable stuff will be deleted unanswered.

and an update:

one three ship pack by sycima
one one ship pack by sycima

The one for the vessel you sent me, I didn't have the time to check myself, it was just a Q'n'D hack. So I do not know if there is any bugs regarding undocking from planets, shots going through, etc, etc.

I have an updated Mako hitbox, that covers the nose part better, than the one I emailed you. If there's still time to get it included in the upcoming update, holler, and I'll send it to you.
