One single page for commodities status - moebus - 03-05-2010 ok, thanks for the information. I am rarely connected but if needed my skype name is moebus.ca One single page for commodities status - Xoria - 03-06-2010 While making all these changes, remove all of the commodity prices, because They're mostly wrong. It duplicates other tools which are more easily accessible and automatically updated. What's right now will soon be wrong. There are going to be several thousand more of them. Displaying data when a lot of it is wrong is worse than displaying nothing. The individual commodity pages will be automatically updated as soon as any client-side patch comes out, and will never include prices for anything except where they can be purchased (which isn't hooked as often as where you'd sell them). When you say that they will soon be wrong, they will only be wrong for a week tops before I go through and update them. We also have the versioning scheme in place where as soon as a new update comes out, all the outdated pages can automatically be marked as such, so the incorrect prices will be identified as such. The advantage of this system over simply using flcompanion et al is that people can manually change any prices that are hooked, to help everyone out. However, I don't have a problem ignoring the prices completely, and maybe just moving to a list of good places to buy and sell. Now, this big list of what is restricted where, I haven't been following, and only want to agree that a giant sparse table is really ugly. |
