I think the Huntress is a nice ship. It would be better if it belongs to the Phantoms. This faction needs a unique and strange design. The BS for this faction could be the discussed Cylon basestar. The advanced one. I know about the problem to maneauver these ships through the asteroids araound the Temple of the Revenants, but there could be one or two new designed systems the Phantoms are present.
Please Igiss rethink your opinion about the changes of the Huntress i suggested to you, especially the cut of the wingtips. If there is no way to get a permission to do so, let it.

Whats about the Katana or Republican Dreadnought instead the Assaultfrigate. They are long and thin.
The Albatros(Nebulon B2) schould be exchanged to. I think the Omega Destroyer from Bab 5 would be better. It is also long and thin and very nice.

Ok people I agree that alot of ships would be good if there models where changed but if you can't read I will remind you.
Igiss (yea the guy who makes all the final choices) said that he will NOT be changing any models bar possiably the rouge gunboat.
So lets just drop it.

No omega nor basestar. No more sci-fi ships. This is Freelancer, Not "Trek Wars: The Babylonians vs The Cylons". Let's try to bring more FL-based ships instead of TV series-based ships.

This ships looks more like a Rogue ship than a Corsair one. Its nice looking and very FL-ish IMO.

Well, I could do also a bit of work to model a Rogue/Molly/Pirate Gunboat (Bloodhound, Wolfhound and Mule are Pirate Ships, not specific Rogue or Molly ones, just wanted to point out). Just give me some time so I can fix Milkshape again (got suddenly extremely buggy).

ok....a question....
if there will be no replacing, what does that mean for ships that need more work?
like ships that lack wireframes, or ships with messed up hitboxes.....if work gets done on them...will they get changed?
