SUCH A SUPER BIG DEAL.

THE INFORMATION ON A SPECIFICALLY HIDDEN BASE IS FALSIFIED.

WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO? ARE WE ALL JUST GONNA FALSIFY EVERYTHING?!

DISCOVERY IS A CONSPIRACY AND NOW THE WIKI TOO? WE ARE DOOOOOMED.

Epic hyperbole there EisenSeele.

Fine. So is it fine if I make an article on you, and edit it to make you out to be a Rastafarian Neo-Nazi Eskimo from Mars with a severe case of fecal incontinence?

It's great that a logical argument can be completely bypassed by ad-homonym attacks and general ridiculousness.

As said before, the wiki is not subject to inRP contexts - it's only there to report the relevant and useful facts about discovery as a mod. If you've got nothing to add on that matter one way or another in a sensible way, please refrain from doing so :/

Not if they make the page protected from editing.

I'm starting an official investigation. Those in charge of wiki falsification will be reprimanded to the fullest extent of the law.

...it's Igiss...

Seriously: Factions do not have to keep the wiki up to date, but puttng false info on just to stop people gaining ships or equipment is not fair or justified at all.

i agree with tenacity, though it is unneccesary its still fair that they asked for it to be removed due to the RP nature of the station.

The same goes for the Order Osiris in Alaska. No problem to find it, but your not supposed to know it either, unless your order

Igiss approved the "Spoiler" tag for a reason, and that's what is being used here.

Alex: Making the location "exact" with decimal points and all is essentially trolling.

As for the off-plane location in the spoiler, I could take it or leave it, provided the same thing happens to Corsica Outer Sanctum.

And really, how hard is it to open up Freelancer/DATA/UNIVERSE/SYSTEMS/IW08/IW08.ini and go to line 643? People who want to find it will, and people who don't will simply not click the spoiler button. It's a game.

Ahahahah. I almost reacted to that.
I think, I think Igiss, you are a genius.
I can't tell if your serious or not, but by Jove that was hilarious after I caught myself.

I guess by way of context, EisenSeele, I can explain that this kind of thing has come up time and again.
I don't know if anything I have to say might sway your mind, however, it's been standard practise to not include info.
Lying? No.
Omission. Yes. Big difference. Get ingame. or let it go, either way, it doesn't really matter as much as you're making out.

"blight on the integrity of the wiki" you're joking right? The wiki has never had integrity.

Simple omission is not exclusively a lie - but removing information deliberately to misinform is lying, a lie of omission :/

I edited my post.

Let it go, for your own sanity. the wiki is like a living monster that cannot be tamed. Simply because DISCO is a living monster.

How is "not knowing" something misinformation? That doesn't make any sense. That's not logic, that's philosophy.

Logic has it's extremes you know, and you are wading, pitchfork and all into.

Why the witch hunt? Isn't it much better to be playing the game and enjoying yourself?
