I have 1.5 Mbps internet and have a ping of around 200-600, yet I've still got around 10 kills in PvP--8 in my various Gunships, two in my Destroyer.

16mb connection get 50-100 ping only lag when the server lags but yeh probably because (I THINK) im pretty close to the server's location

Have a 2mb connection and I get 70-200 ping... of course, I live in Germany, so this isn't a big problem for me.:D.

Well... ping isnt my best friend... He cant sell anything to me... my normal ping on RP server is around 28-36 but lately its high for my standards ... between 50 and 80...
got a 1.5mbit connection (Cable my friends... thats the answer... NEVER use DSL)
