Try disabling AVG and Windows Firewall and then run Freelancer. If it connects, then you found out what's causing it.

Ok... Try to remember back when FL worked, and what you did between that time and when it stopped working. Because I'm starting to run out of ideas here...

nothing has changed except the fact that lately i'm doing some beta testing( switching Between 2 version of disco with FLMM1.3 )

i have reinstalled my game yesterday... maybe i should try to reinstall it in my other HD
PS: for info i have a dual core from intel(Pentium D not conroe) and a 7600 silent video card(Geforce)

I have installed freelancer in my second harddrive but i still have the same problem...
Maybe it's my window XP SP2 that went crazy but i can't reinstall it because i dont have the CD key my father must ask the guy who built up my PC so reinstall XP isnt a solution for the moment

Some other ideas I didn't see people mention:
1) reboot your cable modem / DSL modem
2) check that your modem isn't blocking the port or server.
and, do you have other online games that are working?
