Best large mod ever - Nightfall - 11-23-2006

Played both Evolutions and TNG, I think TNG had the Upgrade Modules and Evolutions had the complete parts removable (not sure) either way, in TNG you can build a little fighter who could alone take on huge capships that had the same upgrades for example... not my kind of play.
I like the idea of modular upgrades and changeable power generators and stuff like that.
I played those TNG for a week or two, Evolutions almost a month... Discovery playing ever since :lol:
Maybe I'll try FL:CE once, but Discovery is something I really like, could use improvements, but I guess that's why we're trying to help Igiss with our suggestions and reports... anyway, Discovery is by far the best.

Evolutions doesn't really fall under total conversion IMO.. as it leaves all initial systems and factions intact and adds on to them. However it gets my vote.

I have tired most of those mods at one point or another.
But there IS a reason I am here, I do not like any of them.
Disco is the best mod created for freelancer. No other one comes close.

Take my advice dont play flce, the admin there is slowly ruining the game he built.

I have enjoyed this mod immensily, just wish there was alot more Rp.

The only other mod I ahve tried to play was Tegakis Treasure, and it was such a huge change from original Fl, I didn't like it that much.

FreeWorlds 1.66 (about 225 megs to DL) + 18.1 Patch (about 161 megs to DL)
that's the best TC that has been made so far. Too bad only a handful of people nowadays are finding their way into the awesomeness that is FreeWorlds...that's why I'm here now after spending a year on both RP and USA server. Over 200 custom ships from the Star Wars universe, custom made bases, dealer's rooms and landing sequences all speaks for itself. I think the latest 18.1 patch is to most balanced what comes to hitboxes, economy and all the little tweaks and bugfixes. Most players gave up after a few weeks when 1.66 was originally released in January this year, it was released too early and was really unstable. ZaccaR (Admin on the RP server) released many patches to try and fix the bugs but especially debates over ship hitboxes and some other stuff made the RP server switch back to 1.65.

Weapons and Ship balance, I like the way the ships fly. And the NPCs are a worthy challenge, especially in Rheinland.
