Interesting concept. Does this mean you can transfer cargo too.
I understood from the rules that only weapons transfers were exceptable. This will save me time for waiting for a friend.
If transfering of cargo is allowed it may be usefull sometimes.

I dont know for sure, but it sounds like that seems a bit... not within the confines of honest RP'ing.

Anything big - as in, doing trade runs with both computers, or pulling a suicide trading run using two computers.
No one really cares one way or the other if you log on and transfer stuff from one ship to another.

I could look up the skypelog, but I'll rather try to get it together without.
Weapons transfers or equipment transfers in general: allowed
Cargo (including ore) transfer: allowed
Doing convoys with more than one computer at the same time: not allowed
Doing suicide-runs: Not allowed
should sum up all possibilities unless someone really is skilled enough to fight with 2 PCs simultaneously.

Safest way is the following if you only have 1 computer-
1. Make another user account
2. Run freelancer on your main account and log into the ship with the item you want to transfer.
3. Use windows Switch User to switch to your other user account
4. Run freelancer on the other account and log into the ship you want to transfer the item to
5. Just trade in-game while switching between the two accounts.
You don't need to droptrade and you don't need 2 computers. Though then again, I'm not sure how legal this is but it's pretty much the same as using 2 computers on 1..

Thanks that is a big help.
As for running two computers and trading with two ships I don't have to worry there.
I have transfer weapons between accounts and it makes me nervous because one ship is vulnerable
at times. The Idea with one computer and two accounts is good because you still only can move one ship at a time I would guess not two.

It's easy. U need in second account, if u don't have second, download freelancer account manager and create. By using FAM(freelancer account manager! U can fast change chars in space. So u should transport both ships in the same place. Then from 1 ship drop needed item then alt+tab or windows. Then by FAM change your account than tractor needed item.

I think the question is already answered here are some Examples
1; Get a second IP on Freelancer Account Manager (FAM)
Get a Second User on your computer; Like Lennie and Mark or something
You go on Lennie; you start Freelancer you stay in space;
Press Start...
You go on Mark; You start Freelancer you stay in space;
Also swap user here.
You see your other account trade with it.
You accept and Accept; (Swap from User)
And there it is; You can also formation fly with 1 computer.
Yust what I say; 2 Transports...
On Lennie U use a Salver Frigate with Cardemine.
On Mark U use a Border Worlds Transports with Cardemine.
Mark will Formate with Lennie;
And you get twice a profit; But I don't know its allowed.
It works but I won't do this tactique; I think its not allowed.
