well personally this one makes me rather happy it would seem the only part they need to do is finish nar shadaa and the mod is finished (i know the mod development is still going on) because if you look around the forum there is various recent posts and the developer or main advertiser has stated "3 years into development the project is still not done, we wish to make this mod perfect in every way we can to make the gaming experience just like the way it was supposed to"

personally i cannot wait for this to come out, i loved kotor 2 but the story let it down. this will be bringing back the story and adding new content.

I loved KOTOR 2 story. You wake up on mining station all naked and try to find things out. Planets are all unique and nice, good quests. Dont like the movies much but the game story is great for me.

Does anyone know how can I acquire KOTOR I ? If so, please do PM me. And no, I'm not buying it for the simple fact that there aren't any for sell.

I'm actually friends with one of the guys who is a beta tester/developer for KOTORII Restoration. Apparantly it's pretty close to done and turned the game around.

*shakes alecrazec's hand*

thanks for the good news bud, i hope it is true i been waiting for this for years to be honest and am looking very much forward to it. kotor2 + decent or a story for that matter = AMAZING

as for kotor 1 restoration i have personally never heard of it (i havent looked up such a thing) because when i played kotor1 it felt so complete it was unreal, i had much enjoyment with the game when i 1st played it infact i completed the game 4 times before i let it go to rest for a year then i played it again. so yeah im unsure of what is happening with that because i personally thought kotor1 was a very complete game

Well, I was on the team. And technically still am, things seem kinda desolate. But I have faith  There was actually a lot of cut content in Kotor I. An example would be the entire planet Sleheyron.

If you have played any RPG from Bioware (Baldur's Gate series) lately the game-play is the same more or less. Nowadays those RPGs are just done in 3D. You move your party around the map and when hostiles show up the game goes to battle mode when you can pause the game if you want to give more specific instructions to your party member other than shoot back.

It's not an FPS game, so no quick reflexes needed. The story is all in RPGs.

Both were good, but it was, and still is, very hard to top KOTOR I's story line.

The best story line in any RPGs I've played has been in Torment.
