Wait. Server hit by updates? :laugh:
So when the server is slow or unavailable, it's under attack by Microsoft Update? Quite amusing. I'm genuinely surprised that someone suggested turning the mechanism off.

I am not turning off updates. Ever.
As for the normal restart time, I change them to coincide with my schedule and the server low population time window.
