Reason #1 If people Q_Q over losing cargo or a few million credits, imagine the tears that would gush with much more at stake.

Reason#2 More F1's. More players will just not want to deal with losing their ship. Means more animosity between players and more sanctions. Therefore, much more work for the admins.

Reason#3 Less RP. People would try to stay away from each other as much as possible in order to avoid risky encounters.

Reason#4 Higher chance of suicides. Spend all your hard earned credits on that battleship, take it out for a stroll, and bam, bombers take it all away. Player jumps off nearest building to die a messy death. Ok, maybe suicide is a bit harsh. But, if someone lost that much time and effort, I don't think they would be playing on the server much longer. And I don't buy the argument, Don't Die. Not everyone plays the game to be a pvp god.

For those of us who dont have the patience to powertrade, or dont have the time, the loss of something you have spent MONTHS saving for, down the drain.

I play to have fun, and,RP. Im in Newcastle for RP, Liberty to RP (yes, I just said that), etc.

I'd be pretty pissed if the IAB Challenger swarms the 'keeper, blows it up, and I'm not stuck with a starflea, osing around 500 million that took half a year to save.

And how about the people with more than 2 accounts? How much would be lost if they get ganked?

Dont Die is no argument.

You ever run into OP Outcast Sabres in Orkney in a armorless Atlas?

Oops...

As for the rest of Jax's saying....

There's enough Q_Q

I have seen maybe 2-3 sanction reports on the noard ondex when I logged on.

I like that.

Voted no as well. Although I like the idea itself, the ammount of drama it would cause is just not worth it.

Shiploss on death - Silver.2 - 04-16-2011

Absolutely not.

Just no.

I mean, this game is so receptive to common deaths. No-one would want to play anymore.

THANK you!

I'm not about to spend 500 million on a battleship just to have it blown to bits by some yutzy gank force of non-RPer's.

Maybe they get to keep their ship if they bought insurance from IC. :D:D:D:D:laugh::laugh::laugh:

Ye, let's see what happens to the next person who makes cracks about IC NPC's then......
Hah.Hah.Hah.Hah.

Shiploss on death - Cat - 04-16-2011

Just no. You know, not all people here are rich enough to afford replacing the ship every time. And Garret brought some good points too. Although the implementation would make sense IRP, OORPly it's not a solution.

Shiploss on death - Taneru - 04-16-2011

No.

I am not going to rebuy every single one of the Legion's shared caps if someone gets them destroyed.
I don't make two billion every week.
It's been a good week for me if I make more than fifty million.
