It... uh.. it's got a lot of guns for a civilian liner.
I can understand the turrets, but those things on the front, are those guns too?

Weapons mounted with a fixed forward arc imply they're intended for aggressive action, which doesn't really fit with the civilian liner role.

If it's as big as a Rheinland Battleship, that doesn't exactly seem like it'd be a cost effective alternative to the Enterprise.

What are those hatch-like areas along spine just ahead of what I assume is the bridge, since it looks..... bridgey?

Edit: Oh, so it wasn't originally a liner, or what?

Actually, a larger size means more people than can be carried, which means more money. It's internal and external modularity would also result in it being able to refitted to whatever you need it to be, as was said in the OP. So if it's currently modded to be a prison liner, you can then mod it to be a Luxury liner if needed, or w/e.

As for the forward things, they were indeed guns for a former use, but since it's a liner, they probably need to be removed. Though they could just be some type of escape pod ejection system, used to send them as far away from the ship as practical to avoid the blast radius of the exploding yacht and enemies that shot it.

I like it. Looks very borderworlds as well, id say it would make an exellent battle-liner, less cargo more armor and guns to protect itself. Perhaps a hybrid type with some GB turret ability?

Care to elaborate in an at least slightly helpful way?

It is a cruiser or even battleship not a liner.

Nonsense. This is clearly a liner for the discerning paranoid maniac.
It's industrial lines, no-nonsense design aimed for protection screams I CANT AFFORD TO BE BLOWN UP.
Seriously, it's like awesome liner.
I want one.
A....a mite big though.
Larger than a RM BS is massive.
But no, i want one. NOW.
