A coalition sleeper ship... - Xing - 03-16-2008 ![]() The Qatar A coalition sleeper ship... - Panzer - 03-16-2008 Bear in mind, ppl - we base upon the intro that we see in the game, not the one on Youtube. Imo - Xing is making a great job with supplying the coalition. Besides - if they have Earth, even if they didn't know what those alliance sleepers were for - what's stopping them from expanding beyond sol? Even if it had no purpose and was just some massive, motionless thing hovering in space, I'd be fying around it going 'ooohhh' 'aaaahhh'. A coalition sleeper ship... - Jinx - 03-16-2008 hasn t the coalition gained he upper hand in the war? - and , as far as i remember, their ships didn t look like junk piles. - maybe you can make this ship a little more "high tech" looking. - as far as i remember from starlancer, their ships were quite sophisticated, too - and not at all "archaic". about sleeper ships - unsure if the coalition would have done that. - the alliance build sleeper ships to exile itself, when they realized that they d loose the war. the coalition on the other hand was aware of winning it. so even if they knew about the alliances plans, there s little point in following the exiles ( besides, they had a blockade there to stop them - they just failed to do ) so, i don t believe the coalition had a sleepership around - maybe a ship with the capabilities to make a hyperjump aswell, but i don t think anything of the size of the sleeper ships. what i expect them to have come to sirius is with a vessel of the size of the outcast destroyer, - which would still be used as a mainbase, either in orbit around some dead rock or fortified on some planet / moon. all that is only guesswork and opinions of course. A coalition sleeper ship... - serenity - 03-16-2008 ' Wrote:the extended intro doesn't make sense completely as suposedly a coalition warship headed for Sirius... curiously, we never hear from it. i don?t think this was a coalition warship... the design looks more like the sleeperships of the alliance. (the small wingtips and the stabilizers) also the name of the general of this ship, sounds in my ears like Rockwood?, Rockvid? or so... not a typical name for someone of the coalition i think. and wasn?t pluto an alliancebase in starlancer???...mmh...i think i have to play it again and watch all movies and news in it to prove my theory ^^ ok.. i need a new joystick, 12 bottles of coke, 10 redbull engergydrinks, a party pizza and a huge load of cigarettes :crazy: back to topic: great work, looks pretty nice. |
