Jinx if it gets gunboat size and agility.. with say 24 shield. It will get raped by any fighter no matter what it does.
Also it can get only 140 thruster speed.
It would need to keep distance not to get hit... but then the SNs can be dodged... so I think a ship with 2 SNs can be balanced.
But it would need lot of work yes.

wow - i consider the snubnose to be the very best looking bomber in the game ( even better than my little BHG bomber, which i find allmost perfect ) - but the BHG bomber ( except for its funny gunmounts ) is great - if a little small though.
@mjolnir: yea - i don t think any of the community wants to unbalance stuff ( willingly or intentionally ) - but we re all biased. i am very biased and suspicious when it comes to bombers ( allthough its the ship i use the most for pvp ) - and others are very biased when it comes to capships strength.
if the supernova wasn t such a superweapon, but did like 60k damage ( and could be fired in a dual mode like the last nova ) - while the nova would be the powerpunch weapon ( maybe with like 300k damage, but the current stats ) i wouldn t mind too much. - cause the nova requires a lot of skill so pilots dont blow themselves up - and it costs a ton of money for ammunition.
but yes - if balanced .... and i trust igiss about this part of the mod - nothing is really impossible. - but like i said, i m biased and i do fear the anti-warship-league here.

Keep the stats of the current rheinland bomber, but replace the model. I agree that the snubnose is an extremely ugly ship model - and weapons dont even mount on it properly (they mount at the end of the model's gun extensions, which ends up looking horrid).
Just make this the about the same size as the snubnose or maybe slightly larger, but keep the stats.

allright - my mistrust aside:)- i must say - yours looks more rheinlandish - and somewhat more the way i think a bomber should look ( i think the current one looks like a bomber - but its really very simple, maybe too simple for rheinland )
the longer body of it reminds me on the SHF - the Mjolnir ( wasn t that the name of it? ) - it looks good - but it would be larger than the current bomber, - cause when the canopy is of the same size as the valkyrie or the banshee, then this bomber would at least be twice as long - and more massive. - maybe a strong increase of armour would be nice ( along with the SHF powerplant - which is slightly bigger than the big bombers powerplant? )

... what? I never said that... The content of my previous post was only a way to show exactly how much I like the current bomber. Not that I'd kill myself in real life if it were replaced...

don t - its a great model and a good model should not be deleted. - rheinland could easily have two bombers, too - who cares. - the snubnose could be a smaller more agile one with a small powerplant - this could be a larger one with a big powerplant. doesn t unbalance stuff and works for variety.
