So... where were all the RM?
Three of you. None of which knew the event even existed. This is a tad frustrating.
Next week lets get some mixed fleets into this. Or at least all turn up and know the damned thing is happening.
EDIT: I'd just like to point out. Doing this on a saturday night is dumb. Frankly, I'd rather be out in some pub or club somewhere, or getting stuff together for that. If people can't be bothered to actualy show up on time why should I go out of my way to get a force together for it?
I notice that 5 RM logged on shortly after I logged off... A full half hour after the scheduled event start time. The three RM who were online when it was due to start said "What event?".
I go out of my way to get myself home for this because it's something I enjoy, and something I hope other people enjoy as well, and at the moment it seems like a bit of a thankless task trying to get it organised.

Joe, we are sorry for this. Only few enlisted members take care of such events.
We are currently talking about a possible new time slot for this event in our private forums. Souldn't take that long.
On a sidenote: it would be way more fun to create two or three different RP events for such PvP events. Personally I do not appreciate such planned PvP events, as they can also be done on bloody PvP servers.
I think we will come up with some suggestions on how to make this battle slot more to the RP side.

I do agree to an extent.
Wars are not -only- fought at 3pm on the second tuesday of every month. They're ongoing and happen contantly.
I think this slot might be rather better used if we had a kind of cycling series of situations and scenarios. Also, sorting out a more varied fleet for each side might be fun. depending on the scale of the scenario planned.
Having a specific plot, for each and every event we do seems a little bit stupid to me though, as not every engagement in a war has any more reasoning behind it other than just killing the opposing force.

You are right. I was thinking of two or three different battle scenarios, which take place at various places, different fleet setups and reasons.
That way we can train our skills AND have interesting RP situations.

Huh? The only battleship which would appear in rare cases is the Ravensburg. And nobody managed to destroy it so far. (As far as I know.)

To All Rheinland Military and allied personnel:
It has become apparent to me that a serious lack of fighting zeal, willingness to die, and overall esprit de corps has run rampant throughout the Kriegsmarine barracks.
And you know what, that is fine by me mein Freund. I have your names and you will shortly find yourself on the sharp end of a rusty bayonet and then swinging by your necks in front of the Chancellor's courtyard by his request.
Now, those who show up for battle will have their pay doubled with a case of fig Vodka thrown in.
I expect to see your lazy asses locked, loaded, and rendezvoused at the Hudson jumpgate in Hamburg at 1800 GMT. The Chancellor has ordered me to destroy the Liberty prison in Texas. I want to see 6 bombers and 4 fighters at that jumpgate.
We will first destroy any capital ships guarding the prison then use proton detonators to destroy the prison itself. Kriegsmarine commandos will free all prisoners and load them onto a secret transport while we our engaging the enemy.
I don't expect any questions from any of you. You will fly where ordered and kill same.
All allied ships are welcome to participate in this crucial mission. You will be in a fighter or bomber as you see fit.
I expect full compliance of the above by all Rheinland Military and allied pilots. My superiors may modify these orders as they see fit.
That is all.
