dont forget that harvesters used too harvest Zoners on sight, for the Alpha Code, so friendly with zoners aint really gonna happen.

This is not our problem, our problem is their perfectly expressed code of honor.
They don't want us Harvesting our primary enemy (the nomads) so they wish to wage war with us.
Its the same with IMG, they wanted peace with Outcasts but they wont accept it cause they occupied one of their systems in Tau space.
This would create a free for all war between 3 Factions destined to fight for their interests or survival.
Much like the BH Order Nomad war

i know what you mean dude, but i liked the way it was, and i would prefer too stay that way, just the name of a harvester on the chat used too send chills down peoples spines, which imo was great, and the RP was like none other.
i personaly think the harvester ID and ships info should stay as it is, and wait for scorn too return if he does? and if he doesnt, well then do what ever we can too make harvesting better.
(21 was decomissioned a while ago, because i had alot of things too do in RL, but just the thought of spine chilling makes me want too be one again, so its back too the trader i go! ^^)

If only everyone would accept a faction as powerful as the nomads, ready to harvest, and process them into proteins and lubricants. But the community has flamed us for this at every step.
We need wars to fight. And we don't need to take it out on the weak to prove our worth.
So due to those flames i chose Outcasts, =CR= and Keepers to to fell our "wrath"

Makes sense. Though, is there any particular reason to be hostile to the IMG as a whole and not just the CR? I don't think the entirety of the IMG (indies and the actual IMG player faction) fights the wars of the CR, do they? I wouldn't expect a bunch of miners and artisans would care too much about the machines without the CR's background. Maybe try for neutral with the regular IMG, moved to unfriendly or hostile if that's the way the cards fall.
To be honest, if it wasn't for the CR I'd suggest the IMG as one of your friendlier factions, like the Zoners and Junkers. They all share similarities.

I think a formal faction is far too conventional to accommodate the wide range of ideas that you appear to be incorporating into this. Think far, far, far outside the box rather than attempting a cookie cutter approach.
It is true that stories revolve around conflict, but that conflict should authentically come from the evolving storyline itself, not from just picking out a few to target because you need something to target.
If you want to put something together, then do it from a foundation of server side activities that jump off of a solid backstory and evolve into something, not from creating a set of forum-side justifications which you can then take to the server.

WAIT ONE BLOODY MINUTE.
I dont know who or what you guys think is going, but I will tell you this that i do know, neither you Snapp, nor you Balthazzar have Harvesters with a High enough ranking to assume leadership roles. I know for a fact both Voice of The Machine and Harvester 03/06 are active in game as well as having seen several other Harvesters show.
For many long weeks, the only Harvester that was active was mine, Harvester 25. Not a single one of you stoped by and said Hi, would log in or find out whats going on. The only time I saw any others was when I let people know on our Private Forums, which you both should have access to, and when I got on the Ventrilo Server we have access to, to which all the information needed to find and use it are also listed on the Private Forums.
Now I see many listed or not listed earlier in the posting, and I have to seriously dispute what I see. Granted the other Harvester I have seen a lot of over the last few months is the renegade Harvester 24. Again, something to which no one but the people he flies with say do do anything with or about. Cause, my fellow Harvesters, last I heard, we want that ship back by any means possible and not a single one of you has made a try at all. The only time I recall any effort was made was almost 6 months ago when there were two attacks led by Harvester 10 with Corsair forces, and a sneak attack led by Harvester 06 with Harvester 25 and Guard 00 around.
Now, I have heard Scorn was away on Vacation, and might have had some difficulties in getting back to playing. Some people have a real life and have to deal with that first, and here some one is annoucing he is not coming back at all? How do you know? Show me where he says he is not coming back cause I heard a matter of minutes ago on the Ventrilo Server that he does know whats going on and will be in contact with us.
Some few ideas have merits, but until we have actual confirmation that Scorn is not coming back and naming his replacement, NONE ONE has the right to assume leadership without asking or seeing if other Higher Ranking Harvesters are interested. So, Snapp aka Harvester 18, and Balthazzar aka Harvester 52, you should wait and see if Harvesters 01 through 17 either pipe up and say something or tell us they do or do not want to become the new standing leader for the faction. Oh yes, there is Guard 00 to consider, since he is the proginator of the Guards for the Harvesters, ie is supposed to be one of the most powerful Harvester Intelects right after VoTM and H-00 to H-10.
That is my $1.80 from the Shotgun for now....
