Order-GMG Treaty Proposal - Heartless - 03-20-2009
Personally, I am against this idea. Why do we all of a sudden need the GMG? We've made it fine for many many years without them, and just because you want a treaty with someone in Kusari that doesn't mean we need to have one. We keep a low profile, we're small, and we don't need this monopolizing company to influence out faction.
As for the statements in the treaty draft.
No GMG ship will -ever- enter Omicron 100. There is no reason to, and I will have them treated as any other imposter to Omicron 100.
There is absolutely no need for Order vessels to leave the Omicrons and make a trail all the way to GMG influenced space. We have no business there and we don't need to start any.
And as for weapons and ships, again, the Order shouldn't be using GMG eqquipment and vice versa. If I see a GMG vessel with any Order eqquipment I won't be happy and I'll have that vessel detained until I get an explanation and the weapons or whatever it is are gone.
I hope you understand why I feel this is a bad idea. There's no point to it, and it's a threat to our very existance. We can't afford to get involved in this game when we're facing a war on three fronts.
I voted no.
