this setup allows to hit bombers and have something for a fight with an other BS.

on my Osiris I use
3 Light corsair BS turrets
1 Heavy mortar
1 Mortar
and the rest is regular Corsair BS turrets.
You snipe them with Mortars whilst using the regular turrets to hit them from 2.7k away.
I have'nt died against another BS yet simply because its the best tactic that works with Osiris's
I've currently destroyed on my own:
2 OC Dreadnaughts
1 OC Battleship
2 Corsair Legates <- a few fun fights.

Solaris has a very short range.
Therefore bombers could just scan you, see you only have Solaris', then just stay out of their range and bombard you with Supernova shots from a distance.

Solaris are very good on smaller battleships like the bretonian BS, Lib dread and Osiris.

I tried it out in a raid of alpha today. It creamed the bombers and was so so against gunboats (i need better practice with the razors). It was doing extremely well till a dread flew right on my and blasted me to tiny bits.

In case you get bored because all outcast capital ship are down, instead of getting an anti-fighter equipment you could just do as your fellow corsair told you and leave the fight, especially if your fighters and bombers are already outnumbering ours about 4 to 1. I'm somehow getting annoyed by your little everyday visits when the server is full so half of our reinforcements aren't even able to join. Thanks.

Haha what? Yesterday we did outnumber you but today we went into the battle with 7-8 of us and 12 of you in system. We were all figuring we were going to be swamped, so your little whine is silly.
Anyways im impressed with it though im torn since I am realizing how much I miss primaries.

uh, you didn't outnumber us today. How noble. I wasn't there, so I can't deny it in the first place. But I've been there at most of the fights last week. Your best day was to only outnumber us 2 to 1, so don't try to pose as innocent, won't work.

Thing about capships is they should be either specialised anti cap or multi role. Anti fighter is just a little... worthless. If you want AF, maybe one of the 150mil cruisers will do, or a gunboat... anything agile and have some thruster. My BC is terrible at fighter warfare, its ment to enforce the rhineland blockade only by sitting a ththe texas gate. Escort takes care of the rest.
In y esterday's blockade we were overrun and my anti cap BC was taken down once all my escort were dead.

I have only been in two raids on malta so far so this haughty and unwelcome whining/attitude needs to go. You know I could whine when 4-5 outcasts dreadnoughts steamrolled crete last night? Do I? No I went out there got blown up and then changed to a different character, no need to get so emotional over it.
