Casero is correct, though the Corsairs are neutral to the Kusari government, they shouldn't be docking on lawful bases in Kusari. The government ignores them, but it's hard to do that when you are dancing in their faces.

Trial by forum is very bad.
Landing on new tokyo if you're not hogosha with artifacts = really bad.
Leave the trafficking to pros, others you have Kabuchiko depot.

That's TWO Kusarian faction alone that the Corsairs are friendly with.

As far as I can recall, the Hogosha isn't exactly "on the level", being basically Junkers. Shady and anything but trusted - just a Kusari replacement for junkers. The Farmers Alliance too is a shady group of political activists, engaged in terrorist operations, with hidden bases in asteroid fields, if my memory serves me right. I don't see how friendship with these would grant an RP reason to land on planet New Tokyo. If anything - it makes them highly suspect to the police. That's just my two cents though. It's how I've interpreted the factions when I've encountered them. If my memory isn't a victim of early senility, I'm pretty sure that the major lawful Kusari corps have missions against both the Hogosha and the FA. I know the police have missions against corsairs.

So... as far as I'm concerned, the corsairs have about as much business on New Tokyo as the Kusari Navy on Crete. I'm well aware that there's two ways to see things: a) When in doubt - land and b) when in doubt - don't land. No matter what pirate faction I play, I don't land on ANY lawful bases, regardless if they are explicitly named as enemies or not - just in case. I don't belong there.

No need to get so angry either; it's a discussion, not a trial. We all have opinions here, and sometimes not everyone agree quite so easily. CLEARLY there's more than one opinion on whether this is ok or not. How can this be a trial by form if we can't even agee on whether it's a violation of the rules or not? That's the point of the thread, isn't it? To find out if it is ok.

It has to be ok to ask, to question.

Sigh.
I can't be bothered with this anymore.
Carry on squabbling amongst yourselves.
Someone in the "know" please correct these mis-assumptions.

Lets face it though, thats what the KNF are for and usually they're good at it.
