I am also not the only one hear that feels that way. I could give you over 30 names just off top of my head.
They have earned a rep for no RP,and a huge part of the comunity is pissed about it(INCLUDING ME).
Oh and I am sooo sorry if some jibberish 10K away,and then being shot at is what they call RP,as it does not work for the other 99% of disco. They are only ones that get away with it. They have earned each,and every OORP encounter they get,from handing out their own.
Now argue with me if you want. I said my oppinion here many times(many before YOU were even a player) I need not,want not to repeat it anymore.
I am sure they got 1 or 2 good RP players. Too bad they log on for maybe 1 hour a month just to keep Official,and let all the OORP players run rampant.

If they would act strictly after the vanilla lore, they'd just shoot you without saying -anything- at all.
Maybe you were just unlucky, or weren't even interested in interacting with them. (After all you seem to have a huge grudge against them anyway, prolly because you can't have their shiny stuff without joining them)
Most of the encounters I've had with nomads, especially Keepers were nice. The roleplay is interesting and gives a little variety into the every-day Navy-shoot-pirate and the other way around crap.
They have said they are not Vanila Nomads. That is main reason they will not take people that refuse to act they them.
I have used their POS tech here years ago when it was open to all,and care little for it(except fighter guns,and can get those as order) and on other servers.

I never, ever got shot at by Keepers, while most of the time they have all the reasons to do so.
Maybe you should try another approach... Instead of going "omg keepers die die dieeeee". You know, like trying to RP with them.

Most of the current Keeper member base is made up of people who've joined in the last few months, and these people are Keepers because they're not OOC morons.
You must have all of New York confused with the Keeper player faction.
On second thoughts, I don't think you've seen a Keeper in at least a year.
You can't expect people to treat you well if you treat them like crap for no reason.

I'm here for two years and a half or something but np. But as Enoch said, try a different approach if you're so upset about Keepers shooting at your arse.
I saw your "RP", I'd drop /1 and /2 and just shoot you as well.

Yes, I said RP.
Some of my characters don't know what Nomads are. If I see a blue squid in space I chicken out and go away.
The ones that know about the Nomads will shoot them or call for backup and then shoot them.
I certainly won't try to talk to it. It doesn't make sense, in character.
Here is my favorite quote on the topic of insufficient RP towards Nomads.

As i said. I am not only one to get the no RP before shooting crap.
Funny thing is though. I have seen the keepers shoot transports alot for no reason,but yet they run from anything that can shoot back.HMMM? Co-incidence?
As for not seeing Keepers lately? Your wrong. I have not been to Omicrons,because i find that area even worse then NY at times,but i have seen Keepers in(and stay with me,a long list) NY/Cali/Cortez/Manchester/Magellen/NL/Cambridge/Dublin/Alaska/Texas/Bering/Hamburg/NB/Stuttgart/Omega's(pretty much all of them) Takes breath.... Gamma/Tau's/NT/Honshu/Kyushu,and a crap load of Guard systems that to me is way OORP for alot of reasons. So i have seen them.Just not where they should be. Unless their ZOI is all of sirius now?
