Doubling a Player name - Doom - 03-01-2008 alt gr +4 is letter C as shown on picture below (in name Francois)...only that FL doesn't show that little tail ![]() So every keyboard can write it...but position of that letter depends on what kind of keyboard u using... i have QWERTZ keyboard while most users have QWERTY....so letters Z and Y hold different places...in the same way other letters or signs can be placed on different position...so just cause you cant write something with combination of keys that i am using..it doesn't mean u cant write it using your own combination. for better view of what you can write with keyboard for test purposes you can use on screen keyboard... However don't use chirilic letters or / \ | or any other combination of signs in player name cause that is against the rules Doubling a Player name - Vero - 03-01-2008 If your character name has a lower case L in it you can substitute a capitol i for the L in the second character name. Example: Santigo_Alvarez Santigo_AIvarez The font used in Freelancer shows them as nearly identical. Of course anyone could add a . after a second name to appear nearly identical. Doubling a Player name - Dopamino - 03-01-2008 To get the C with the cedilla, press Alt+0199 on your keypad. To get lowercase, press Alt+0231 on the keypad. So will this character show up as a C or a blank in Freelancer? Doubling a Player name - Horon - 03-01-2008 I just want to know letters that appear invisible-like in freelancer....Still...This is really helpful...But can you get sanctioned for using symbols in your name? I thought I recalled an admin sanctioning someone for that... Doubling a Player name - Xing - 03-01-2008 aah this C. The french C cedilla =P I recall when I was in my younger years, teachers there used to call it the "pig tailed C" XD |
