The effects are actually pretty basic, and are composed mostly of presets.
I'd like to stress that this is not an entry of any kind. These logos are intended to be used by those who do plan to submit things, so as to save time and effort. In other words, help yourselves.

Clayph has wowed the lot of us with our new, shiny fully customizable sigs and the whole thing was basically voted to a close in a mad rush of drunken, stomping Xenos. The Squadron Commander sig, my own amusingly enough, is still in post production so I'm borrowing the Wing Commander's.
Thanks to Blue Shift for his utilized, with thanks, contribution of a grand insignia design and to Paranoid Android for putting up contributing his still competition!
