' Wrote:I don't see that represented on the encrypted board. Is it only my English? I read 'interdiction' as turning them back, not 'tax' or any similar. For me it seems it's still the most profitable to shoot.

Besides that, I only have one question... When will it open again? :$

It's mainly the last part of the sentence:

"However, be aware that we value cargo interdiction over murder and will not pay any claims for destroyed ships that do not provide any proof of you having at least tried to spare the crews lives."

though, any suggestions on different wording will be taking into consideration, I'm not a native english speaker myself after all (even worse, I'm German). Would "Interception" rather than "interdiction" do any good?

Cryer doesn't originate from Bretonia. It also has granted landing rights on Atka to BDS logistics vessels. Atka sells Human Organs, that are very in demand on Kabuchiko. Careful with people who will probably make your replacement spleen.

I guess I need to clarify something in my post. According to the pirate Id. They have the following rights

"Pilot carrying this ID is an independent Pirate of the Sirius sector, who :

* Can demand credits or cargo from traders and unallied smugglers or factions
* Can trade and escort smugglers
* Can ally with unlawfuls, mercenaries, and freelancers
* Cannot ally with any lawfuls
* Cannot use any ship with more than 4,300 cargo capacity,
* Cannot land on any lawful bases across Sirius except for Zoner bases

Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports, Gunboats

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime. "

No where does it say that they have the right to fulfill lawful and unlawful bounties as the bounty hunter and freelancer and mercenaries states. I hope this helps. The ID is a direct quote from the Wiki.

In theory, it looks real nice to have Hogs and Farmers ask gaijins to 'turn back or get shot' - but it's really hard to prove if a target complied. Maybe with chatlogs.

But the current wording doesn't states that after donating credits or cargo, the 'pirate' is still get payed by Samura. I'd suggest something like this:

The bounty will only be payed if one of the following conditions are met:

- a demand for credits or cargo to support the people of Kusari was refused, and the target is taken down afterwards
- a demand for credits or cargo to support the people of Kusari was met, and the target leaves
- the target turns back the way he came from

I know it doesn't sounds real official-like, but it's a matter of life or death - one has to be disambiguative.

EDIT: Or did I misunderstood? Whenever I look on that board, it's getting better and better. Keep up the good work!

Sure but the pirates in question here will be carrying one of the two IDs mentioned below.

Quote:<h1 id="firstHeading" class="firstHeading]Farmers Alliance ID</h1> Pilot carrying this ID is an Honorable member of the Farmers Alliance, who :

  • Can trade and escort traders,
  • Can fulfill bounty contracts,
  • Can demand credits or cargo from non-Samura traders and unallied smugglers or factions,
  • Can engage pirates, terrorists and lawfuls within their Zone of Influence,
  • Cannot ally with any lawfuls except with KNF, KSP and Samura,
  • Cannot attack Samura, KNF or KSP ships,
  • Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo.
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports.

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime.

<h1 id="firstHeading" class="firstHeading]</h1>
Quote:<h1 class="firstHeading" id="firstHeading]Hogosha ID</h1> <h3 id="siteSub]From Discovery Wiki</h3> Jump to: a href="."/wiki/index.php/Hogosha_ID#column-one]navigation, a href="."/wiki/index.php/Hogosha_ID#searchInput]search Pilot carrying this ID is a Hogosha, who :

  • Can demand credits or cargo from non-Samura traders and unallied smugglers or factions
  • Can fulfill bounty contracts
  • Can trade and only escort Hogosha artifact smugglers
  • Can lawfully transport Artifacts within Kusari
  • Can engage pirates, terrorists, Junkers and lawfuls within their Zone of Influence
  • Cannot ally with any lawfuls except with KNF, KSP and Samura
  • Cannot attack Samura, KNF or KSP ships,
  • Cannot use any transports with more than 4,300 cargo.
Allowed ships: Fighters, Freighters, Transports

Carrying unmounted IDs in your ship, as well as not equipping an ID, is a serious crime. Transporting Artifacts is not sanctionable if your ID does not say you can lawfully do so. It just means that there may be in-character consequences if you are not lawfully allowed.

So yes you are 100% correct in your last post, however the only thing a Pirate ID'd player would do for Samura is to take their money/cargo.

That is good advise, thanks.

My bad. Mixed their headquarters with the origin of one of their players I had some nice chatter with. Also, good point on the organs.

There's also possibility to bounty only certain commodities. Or only those ship in your list with cargo at all.

Will be taken into consideration. Not sure if it's harder to keep track on the excluded stuff or the actual bountied one.

That is actually a good point, I shall make a write up of both if you like and we can have a look at what is less convoluted.
Of course that is tomorrow as it is now 3:30am... again.
