I flew a Decurion once. I decided that I'd rather swallow a ball of barbed wire than do it again.
IMO the scimmy is a bit slow.
The loki is pretty cool really. It has a fat arse, but it flies nice, and I can mount a sunny torp on it (which makes me grin).
The liberator is ridiculously hard to hit, please for th love of the Xenos slow that thing down just a tad.
The griffon I have never flown, I but I once see someone flying one, and it was huge and slow for n LF. Infact it appeared to be a lot more like flying an HF but with LF guns, which seems pretty lame. Turning boost perhaps, just to bring it in line with the rest of the shipline.

The Hammerhead completely nullifies the existence of the Sea Serpent- it turns better, has a larger powerplant, better guns, a torp slot, the same hitbox minus two tiny wings, they even cost the same... Sea Serpent needs to be able to turn for a change.

I'm not entirely against it getting buffed, but I do think it's a bit underrated. I've certainly done better in it than any other ship of mine... meaning that I die less, since my only kills so far were in my transport. :rolleyes:
Also, Joe, the Loki can fire a Mini Razor once in a while. Thought you'd like to know.:)

Nah Sea Serpent it tiny compared to Hammerhead and it's not just the wings.
Head on it has smaller area than anything else.
Strafing is also reasonable, turning needs and upgrade yes.

i used the sea serpent once - and was extremely disappointed. - i expected a fighter like the liberator - and got something the lines of a griffin that wouldn t want to turn when i wanted it to turn ( roll before turn - the griffin does it, too )
for me - the response of a turn is one of the most important things with a fighter - so i prefer a hammerheads turn over the sea serpent, even if the HH is bigger and all in all ( by the stats ) slower. - but i m not sure if the sea serpent was balanced if it had the very same agility like the patroit with the same direct response to any directional change. - its really a small target ( but then... i don t care much if its a small target from the front - cause i wouldn t try to joust agatinst a larger fighter in a LF anyway )
anyway - the worst LF is the wolfhound. - big target, few guns, low armour, low everything - and looks crappy.

Eh, Wolfhound actually is he Rogue vanilla VHF, so you perhaps meant Hyena/Bloodhound?
Well, i voted Decurion to be the worst, any Corsair faction taking the Arwing instead should tell you all about it, no?
The Legionnaire is hard to be hitted if flown by NPC, indeed, maybe has to do with LAG or so.
Nevertheless, the Hyena comes exactly after the Decurion. Not only it has only 3 guns, if i'm right, but also the Shield HP is exactly at it's nose. So if your shield is down and you don't strafe, you won't be able to regenerate your shield after 2 headons - because you won't have a shield anymore. I think that may be the biggest problem of it. And yes, i know it can't be moved i think.

Yeah, I heard about the Corsair LF issue being that it sucked, which is why I just said 'screw it, Titans and Praetorians only'. The Arwing... doesn't strike me as right, for a Corsair. Can't help but think 'Starfox' when I see one. What's this about a bug?

This Bug is that sometimes you can't see any gunprojektiles if you shoot. And if it's active, your missiles will miss at 10 out of 10 fired missiles. And i don't know if it counts, but if it's active, i also can't dock at Cadiz at the normal docking buoys, but need to use the Mooring thingys.
Edit: Decurion of course! Wanted to get it, but was told to take the Arwing instead as it's better.

Sea Serpent is rubbish and I see no reason to recommend it to anyone. Give it a torp slot or increase agility and or get me a date with Sienna Miller and I'll be happy.
