Naturaly... I don't intend to brag, but winning against an bloody cruiser is quite easy... I sometimes manage to take out a battlecruiser without ever loosing my shield.
In a straight dumb fight renown for pilots who don't know how to fly cruisers win with ease, but if a gunboat pilot knows what he's doing he wins... and in my case rather easily, even against a cruiser captain that knows what he is doing.
There is one void to this rule... Ku desie is almost imposible to kill by a gunboat...
Also for the record as 4.85 will have this balance sorted... No longer will one gunboat come to a Cruiser and kill it with ease. Perhaps against an inferior pilot it might be doable... but most likeley, rather impossible... so this unbalance was noted and there is no need to report it untill 4.85 public beta comes online... and you spot new imbalances in this bit...

GB can kill Cruser But If Cruser doge in E. Kill "mode" And uses AA (solaris) and anti cap. mix of turets GB gets hard time. Why? Range! If Cruser escapes to 1,8 1,9k then GB is easy target. In this range Cruser turets gain on acuracy.

but there is no torps on the Gunboats in FL its just pure guns,guns,guns,missiles,infernos,battlerazors!!! although having a torp GB as a special class would be a good idea...

Fighters/Bombers would be airplanes, yus? That would mean we have flying aircraft carriers, dreadnoughts, and everything else.

*Facepalm* ...... The Outcast develop the INFERNOS, and many other of the weapons they use. The corsairs also develop their own weapons, such as the Tizonas, and then both groups distribute their weapons to their allies, who then use them. No, they shouldn't be using second hand weapons/thrusters or what ever your getting at. For the gunboat part...... That's super unlikely to happen... I can see 2 gunboats doing it, but like someone above said, all depends on the pilot..

Ill have to desagree on best GB is the liberty one, thats not true
Best and strongest GB on Disco is m26 witch has the most armor and guns
no other GB even stands a chance vs M 26 except maybe IMG GB
or and GBs donot stand a chance vs BC dont matter how good you are in GB, destroyers and cruisers sure but not BCs

I will have to disagree too. It's not the equipment but the pilot's skill. Liberty's GB and cap ships are pretty good. And I think the liberty cruiser has too good of a turn speed, it even out turns a Outcast destroyer (the strife on that destroyer is crap). Plus the pricing for the GB and caps are all about the same price. Another thing, have you ever try flying a corsair cruiser?? That thing strife and turns so badly, I gave up flying it. So it's not about equipment but the pilot's skill with the ship.

I've seen someone take down 3 BHG BCs in an OC Dessie.
I then saw one guy lose vs a lone Lib Cruiser.
I've seen 2 GBs take down a BS, 2 dessies, and 3 bombers. the BS and a dessie had cap 8s.
I then saw someone lose vs a lone dessie in the same GB.
I beat a BS solo in my corsair GB.
I then saw someone lose to the same BS in the same GB.
It's all about skill.
