Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - reavengitair - 12-29-2009 I still be thinking that the head of a dragon would go well on the dragon cruiser as a forward gun...:)' Although, those spines look quite fragile... Perhaps some more support? Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Shagohad - 12-29-2009 So does the dragon head eat the rocks? Where's the useful mining tools? I like the back, but not so much the front. This is more like a yacht.... Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Exsiled_one - 12-29-2009 The head basically "tractors" in the ore with those tentacles down there slightly pushing it towards his head. Ofcourse mining is done differently in actual play (via guns) but collector has those "hands" as well. Basically the head intakes the ore chunks then, and they pass trough filtration that purges the ore from the rest of the rock that's redundant then and gets thrown back in space trough the middle of the ship, while compressed cargo heads towards the back storage tanks. It contributes to pollution - but that's Leeds' problem. For the alien organism / Fuel mining, I would say it just travels trough the pockets filled with organisms / Fuel and tractors in the things, while ejecting those parts that aren't necessary. It's a more advanced system, and I believe that Kishiro can master it. Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Shagohad - 12-29-2009 Sounds pretty legit. Thank you for answering. Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Friday - 12-29-2009 I really like the look of the ship without the head. But I can also see the ship having one as well, it is imposing as well as funtional. What if there could be both? By that I mean have the head as an optional attachment - like a cargo pod? Just a thought. Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Exsiled_one - 12-29-2009 If it can be done, let it be done. But losing the head places it step closer to everyone and their mother wanting one. I actually like that people are divided on this. Means they're less prone to want to buy it for their Rheinland miner and then get some trouble on them. If I can also say, I'm glad that people either love it or hate it, its cool noone is indifferent. Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Exsiled_one - 12-29-2009 Anyone interested in making an Hitbox and spending some time on that? We could arrange a credits payment Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - darthbeck - 12-29-2009 I for one, do not approve of this model. It doesent look "Freelancer-ish" to be a mining ship. Whatever that means. i also do not think that samura/kishiro should get a diffrent mining ship, even more so if the hitbox/model would be smaller then the current mining ship. But, besides the head, i think it may have a place somewhere. Just, not as a mining ship please. Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - Jinx - 12-29-2009 here is a revision from my side... this version has no dragon head - but goes a lot further into the future in terms of kusari design. ![]() i am also aware that it might look a good deal too advanced. - well.... thats why its a concept. Proposing Kusari mining vessel Noboru - McNeo - 12-29-2009 Awesome. Just take away the mining complex from the bottom, and it'll be just about perfect. The bow looks a bit libertonian, but its thin enough to pass for Kusarian. |
