If it isn't to be added to the mod, why waste the time doing it? Jinx, you have some skill, and there's plenty of imports and ships that just don't belong in here. I know you're under no obligation to do anything and we appreciate your efforts, but why not do stuff that's actually going to be used. I see so many excellent models for things that will never be added, and we still have Homeworld ships, Star Wars imports and some really ugly models (X-Shuttle, Virage, Havoc Mk2 come to mind instantly).
It just makes me wonder if modelling is easy or people just have a lot of spare time.

just because something shouldn't be added to the mod, doesn't mean someone doesn't have to do it. I unwind by playing games, socializing, or partying, and even 3d modelling. it helps me chill out and relax during times when I need it. perhaps jinx is the same? appreciate the OP's thread topic, not complain about how he is doing something that wont be added to the mod and is thus wasting time.
and jinx, I strongly recommend you checking your Skype, since there is a bit of stuff that needs doing and we're trying to run on a tight schedule.
(by the by, this reply isn't meant to be a flame. if you perceive it as such, then that's your own view, not my fault)

Jinx made a really good work here and I'm dissapointed so few of those good models succed into the game. Jinx could use his talent to create even more good models , that will get implemented. I'm not ordering you anything, it's just my opinion. I appreciate your work.
There are other good modelers like DartStriker and Frozenballs and others that could do the same.

The first one would be awesomesauce as a fighter, which i think would fit more with gaians... building omgwtfpwncapships might be beyond them, and TOTALLY counter to their philosophy, but a small, neat, agile fighter, not heavy on armour, but good turn rate and a decent power plant would fit with them.
